MISP Modules v3.0.12 and later

Modat Magnify is a new expansion module in MISP Modules v3.0.12, released on 14 October 2026. It adds infrastructure enrichment to MISP, returned as structured MISP objects so the relationships around an indicator stay visible.

The Modat Enrichment connector enriches IPv4 observables in OpenCTI with Modat host intelligence. It queries the Magnify host API and updates the observable in place.

  • Autonomous system and operator, country and city
  • Domain names from host FQDNs and certificate SANs, linked to the IP
  • X.509 certificates, plus optional CVEs as Vulnerability objects
  • A summary note of services, plus modat labels per fingerprint tag
  • Everything created as STIX 2.1, so it deduplicates with your other connectors
  • Run it by hand, automatically on ingest, or from a playbook
  • Observables above your maximum TLP (default TLP:AMBER) are never sent to Modat

Modat Magnify for Maltego brings host intelligence into a graph with one right-click on any IPv4Address. Twenty forward transforms and six reverse pivots run against the Magnify API.

  • One right-click: the master transform fans out the full host context in a single call
  • Twenty forward transforms across ASN, location, domains, services, banners, technologies, OS fingerprint, HTTP, TLS, certificates, SSH, CVEs, hashes and tags
  • Six reverse pivots from a JARM fingerprint, certificate, DNS name or hash back to the hosts sharing it
  • Native Maltego entities, so the output composes with the rest of your graph
  • CVEs carry their CVSS score, and CISA KEV entries are flagged and ranked first
